American Weird Laws

An unbelievably weird law collection!

America is known for its weird laws. The app contains a collection of over 1,700 of them in all different states. Following are a few of my favorites (with my own comment):

- In Los Angeles, it is illegal for a man to beat his wife with a strap wider than 2 inches without her consent. (Honey, may I?)

- In San Francisco, persons classified as "ugly" may not walk down any street. (I guess I have to stay home.)

- New Mexico Constitution prevents idiots from voting. (Maybe other states should apply the same law.)

- In Dunn NC, no one may visit a cemetery after midnight. (It’s ghost-only time.)

- In St. Croix, women are not allowed to wear anything red in public. (Are there bulls around?)

- X-rays may not be used to fit shoes in Washington State. (Can it?)

- In Rhode Island, no one may bite off another's leg. (You gonna have a bigmouth to do it.)

- In Jonesboro, it's illegal to say "Oh, boy". (Oh, boy!)

- In Alaska, eating a neighbor's baby is strictly forbidden. (Can I eat my own?)

- Driving cannot be done while asleep in Tennessee. (No comments)
