Summerbreak

Welcome to the Canal Welfare Summer Break app!

This year the Summerbreak will take place from 3 to 7 August. The Summerbreak is a sport, game and culture week. All Assenaren can experience different activities during this week. The activities are challenging, innovative and bring a lot of fun. This week we are not only organizing, but with around 40 partners. These are both sports clubs and SMEs, which help to make the Summerbreak for the Assenaar challenging.

What to do?

All activities are offered from Monday to Wednesday. With these sports and culture parts you can earn points with which you can rent tools. The tool can be used to build a cabin. You need this cabin to participate in the endgame.

From Tuesday to Friday you can eat (healthily) at the traveling Resto.

Thursday is all about finishing your cabin and then the different final games. An open battery mic is also organized. Every musician from Assen can participate. During these hours you can eat at the traveling resto.

The closing Friday is all about spectacle. On the closing day we have a Wipeout Baan that everyone can get over. This Wipeout Baan is approximately 100 meters long and provides a lot of pleasure and challenge. In addition, especially for the participants of the Summerbreak (up to a max of 300 participants), there is the possibility to participate in the Colorrun on Friday at the end of the day.

If you can't do on Friday, you might be present on Saturday at the Crazy Colorrun!
